How To Record high quality voice over into Adobe Premiere Pro 2020

To invest ina USB condenser microphone so I have two of them right here I have the FifineK670 and the RODE NT USB the main difference between them just frompriceis that they're about a hundred dollars apart this one is $48 at the timeof recording and this is a $169 this one has great reviewsit's a top seller onB&H and Amazon and RODE is a great audio microphone companyFifine is new to the market so the idea here is whether or not you guysneed to spend that extra100 dollars to get good quality sound and what'sreally cool in today's technology especially in Premiere Pro with theessential sound panel there's a great noise reduction technology and enhancersthat couldreally make your sound sound great even for cheaper and microphonesso remember these are just for beginners but you can make it sound really goodand they're so portable and easyto use both of these come with these USB cableshere so you just plug them in in the bottom so this end goes into the bottomof each and then youput in this USB into a PC or a Mac and you just recordthe sound directly into your computer using any type of software so on my MacI use aQuickTime Player to record I also use Adobe Premiere Pro and Auditionto record my audio so they both have headphone jacks so you can plug in yourheadphones into them theyboth have volume controls they both have the samemicrophone pattern shape which is a cardioid pattern that means that theypick up audio directly in the front and not on thesides so if you talk into themicrophone like this it's not good yeah let's go aheadand jump in and record and then apply some sound noise reduction enhancementsthat you guysrequested I left a poll in the community tab and we'll compare tosee if it's actually worth that extra 100 dollars oh wait wait wait waitsorry guys there's a questionin the audience uh-huh uh-huh great question soif you guys didn't hear somebody asked what a pop filter was because this RODENT USB microphone has a pop filter and thisone does not well this is a noisereduction protection filter that's what it isthis protects it from that those big breaths coming in the big pops coming inwhere they're talkingwith a lot of peas and that's why it's called a pop filterso it's a great way to avoid it damaging the actual quality of the soundthere are ways ofcourse if you're very careful to talk very carefully into thisand it's not completely necessary but most people that are in audio would highlyrecommend using a pop filter so let'sgo ahead and just get these plugged on inhere so so if you guys are Mac users welcome to dongle city it doesn't take astandard USB so I have toplug it into an adapter so I'm just gonna plug thisin here so you will know that it's on because there's a little blue light oninside I don't know ifyou guys can see that but basically USB condensermicrophones most of them you will see that it has been illuminated inside thiscolor is blue so that means it's on andit's good to go the next step is to turnon our recording technologies so the first microphone that we're doing is theFifine K670 and I'm recording directly into Premiere Proto make sure that themicrophone is set up just go to Premiere Pro go to preferences audio hardwareand you can choose the input and this one should come up asMIC_TEST and then hit yes and that is the Fifine microphone allright so now to get it to record in Premiere Pro you're going to hit therecord button and thenhit the play button and then it's recording intoPremiere and so then what you can do is make sure that the audio levels are notpeaking if it's above zero it'sgonna start peaking so if I hold this closerand it's between zero and - (minus) 12 decibels then we're good so I'm justgoing to read a bit from Planet Earth2 done by David Attenborough so this is what it's going to sound like 'There are only fourteen peaks in the worldthat rise over 8,000 meters all of them arehere in the Himalayas lethally coldscarred by gales in blizzards these mountains these mountains areamong the most hostile places on earth' now I'm going to fully embody my golomb characterall of them are here in the Himalayaslethally cold scarred by gales and blizzards these mountains are among themost hostile places on earth" so straight out of the microphone Ifeltlike the experience in the sound was much better coming from the RODE NTUSB but we'll see maybe they'll sound a roughly the same after I do somepost-processing using theessential sound panel in Premiere Pro and thisvideo is sponsored by Syncly Syncly is a form of AI music technology thatallows you to customize music to match the sort offeel and mood that you'regoing for so you can use it inside a Premiere Pro or the web app and you canchange the tempo of the music you can changethe fullness of the track andeven customize the different stems of the musical instruments until youachieve that effect so you guys can save $41 dollars using my code GAL199instead ofgetting it for $240 (two hundred and forty dollars) you can get it for a $199(hundred and ninety-nine dollars) and you can use these music in any type of videosoI'll put a full description of the product as well as my code in thedescription box below what follows are the fully groomedvoiceovers with music from Syncly I used Premiere's
