How To Multi Camera Video Editing and Color Grading Adobe Premiere Pro 2020

Now a lot of you guys have asked me and how do you colorgreat multi camera angles because it's a little bit tricky now I'm going to show you how todo that in the tutorial but first we're gonna have fun into a littlemusic video shoot with a song that I got from Songtradr called Burgundy.NowSongtradr is a really cool music licensing platform just like others youcan use it to browse by genre, vocals different moods, but better yet anybodyaround the world, musicians aroundthe world, can upload and license their musicand you can follow these artists so you can go to their unique page you canfollow their music and better yet this ismy favorite part is that you canleave them tips so you could say hey I appreciate your work and leave thatartist a tip which is really cool so what I'vedone is I've I've chosenburgundy I went through their list I thought it was super cool and better yetI was able to download an mp3 without a watermark before Istarted to edit so Icould be sure that this was the song that I wanted to use in this videobefore I went ahead and licensed it so I reached outto the Songtradr team andthey sponsored this video and they also hooked you guys up with a 10% off promocode you guys can get that code in my description boxbelow and usemy link to sign up for Songtradr and start browsing music and downloading themp3s without a watermark for free today so without further ado let's go aheadand startshooting our music video and I've made all of this footage as well asthe 1-minute remix version of Burgundy in my description box below so you guyscan follow along duringthe edit and now let's go ahead and shoot the music video.["Burgundy" by Wit Blu Plays" So inside of my project panel here I have the six different angles that we shot for this music video now one thing that'simportant to note is that on eachangle I had the music playing in the background while I was lip-syncing soeach one of these angles has the full 60 second songthere are differentdurations but they all have the full length of the song for that particularangle and we have the burgundy 60-second remix track here that is the track thatwewant to be the audio when we synchronize all of these to make themulti-camera sequence now to follow along you can download all of theseassets to make your own multi-camerasequence so what I'm going to do tocreate the multi-camera sequence is select the the wav file here that I'm going tohit shift and then I'm going to select angle1 and then I'm going to ctrl clickand create multi-camera source sequence. In this new window I'm going to give it acustom name and I'm going to call it music video. Now this is where wesynchronize for this we're just going to use the default here we're going to useaudio track channel 1 and this will use the burgandy 60remix .wav file asthe main audio file and then for sequence presets I'm just going to leavethis as is and then I'm going to hit OK.Now what this did is it put all of theangles in the audio file in this processed Clips folderand we have a music video multi-camera source sequence now whatI'm going to do is just drag and drop this inside of the timeline and this is where we can beginto edit now all of the angles are inside ofthis one layer right now if we scrubthrough its black in the beginning because not all of the clips startedwith video but as I scrub through you can see thatwe start to see video nowto see all the other angles inside of this click on the toggle multicam reviewand now you can see we have our six angles hereif you do not see thisbutton just click on button editor and drag this multi camera view into yourbutton tool area here so all of the angles you see inthis multi camera vieware synced with this audio track so then we can easily begin to make a rough cutby switching between these angles without having to worry about draggingdifferentlayers so the way this works is each camera angle you can click toswitch of course but each one of these is assigned a numerical value so this isnumber onethis is two three four five and six so you can press the number keysto switch so I can hit two and it goes to two number three and itgoes to threeI can tap four five and six so that's how you switch between them now to makeactual cuts Premiere Pro can record the cuts as you play itback and hit thedifferent numerical values so what I'm going to do is just watch the video backhit the number keys to create a rough cut of what I wantthe music video tolook like and of course you can change these cuts at any time which I will showyou after I'm done recording the cuts so first in theopening here I'm just goingto roll this back before the music starts so you can see the waveformbegins right here I'm going to hit C on my keyboard to cutthere and then Vagain to go back to the selection tool and delete that bit off so now we'reready to go the first video that I want to show isnumber two so I'm going tostart on number two and then I'm going to hit playand hit the different camera angles I want to show at different times andPremiere Pro will record those as cuts so now when I hit stop you can see allthe cuts were made and recorded whenI hit the keypad now I'm going to go tothe final music video that I created here and let me double click to openthis up and one thing to noteis you can change the the height of your video soyou can see the different cuts here now if i zoom and you can see the differentvideo clips and youcan see what angle it cut to so you can see here it's angle6 and here it's angle 1 so that helps you see what angle it is if youeverwanted to change what angle is being displayed at this moment just simplyswitch by clicking which angle you want to switch to and it automaticallyswitches and you can see thatchanged instantly so I'm just going to switchback here if you do not see the names here just be sure to go to the wrenchtool and show video names andthis will help you see what angles it was cut toanother thing you can do if you want to adjust where this cut takes place it'sreally easy to do simplyhit n on your keyboard to go to the rolling edit tooland you can move this edit to any point in the future or farther in thebeginning and the timelineat any point you want so it's really easy to modifyall the cuts that you recorded to refine your edit so once you have all youredits in place you canalso just select a clip here go back to the selectiontool and you can zoom in and out by using the effect controls here so youcan scale and if youlike you can move it over and so on so you can really playaround with the motion controls here to refine your edit another thing that youcan do is youcan color correct now you can color correct out ofindividual levels such as selecting this angle then using lumetri color let's saycurves to increase the exposure but this is onlyincreasing the exposurethis one cut if you want to adjust the color settings of the entire master clipso future instances of this had the same effects this is where youactually colorgrade at the master level so I'm just going to hit command Z to undo that anddelete Lumetri color from this clip here so this is where we goto the masterclip so I'm going to open up Processed Clips double click to open up and go oneand from here I'm going to go to effects and I'm ina search for lumetri colorI'm going to drag and drop lumetri color on this source and go one and then undereffect controls you can see we have lumetri color nowif we go back to Engle 1we can now use blue metric color and you can see that we're editing the master.
